Replenish App
Millions of people in the UK rely upon the regular giving of food to a food bank. Replenish is an app focused on helping motivate people to give to their food-banks banks.
What do people really need?
Replenish is focused on making the average person feel prepared to donate to a food bank. Donate from home, your desk, or the supermarket to ensure that the community has enough food. Participate in making your town a better, more well-loved place. People need to feel connected to others while also feeling rewarded.
Free drinks
Earning points towards a free hot drink is quick and easy. Replenish knows when you are in the supermarket and just by scanning the food item and donating it to the store you can earn points easily.
It is about connecting the user with the giving, you get back how much you give. By scanning the food the app can help the bank know what food is going to be sent and help them to send notifications more accordingly to what they need.
The list helps to track what is previously given and how many points have been successfully earnt

Notifications are sent by tracking your location. When you arrive in a supermarket a notification is sent to say what the urgent requests are

Love your area
By having a news feed page this helps to update with real time articles about how donations are changing lives. By relating it to the user it helps to keep the motivation going to keep giving, the goal would be to see how things are changing and how donation proceeds are growing over time.
Replenish the visual style
My inspiration came from applications that made effective use of typography, strong, vivid colour schemes, and full-screen layouts.
I wanted it to be enjoyable, friendly, and welcoming.
I arrived at this final design after running tests to see how layouts and user flow would function. I did not want the app to be overly complicated or difficult to read.
